Комсомольская Правда (Komsomol Truth), Thursday, 1 June 2000

This is a June 2000 issue of one of the oldest and most popular Soviet newspapers. Nearly a decade after the collapse of the Soviet Union, it also prints its Soviet orders, albeit in small images, and reminds the attentive reader that it was founded in May 1925. At the bottom of the page it notes the number of visitors to its internet site. Today its website has the familiar look of a news aggregator, complete with endless scrolling and many ads for “Yandex Direct: Site for Adults.”
